This call is aimed at filling one full-time faculty positions for the Department of Electronic Engineering at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (UTFSM or USM, for short) in the field of Telecommunications and Signal Processing. (Position Code VA24-05).
The selected candidate should conduct research in areas related to Telecommunications and Signal Processing, either in fundamental research in the discipline (e.g. wave propagation, antennas, microwave engineering, signal processing, information theory) or applied engineering such as personal communication systems (e.g. 5G, millimeter waves, channel modeling and coding), space communications (satellite communications, free-space optical communications), instrumentation in radio astronomy, and RF applications in industry.
